Prozo, India’s fastest-growing full-stack supply chain company, has expanded its Maharashtra footprint with the launch of a new fulfilment centre in Bhiwandi, spanning over 50,000 sq. ft. The addition brings Prozo’s Maharashtra network to seven fulfilment centres, covering a combined area of 4.1 lakh sq. ft. Bhiwandi, long established as the warehousing and logistics capital of western India, marks a natural and strategic next step in Prozo’s ongoing capacity expansion across the country’s most commercially active state.

Located on the Mumbai-Nashik Expressway and in close proximity to the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT), the facility sits at the convergence of the city’s import-export freight corridor and its retail distribution network. Direct connectivity to the Eastern Express Highway and the proposed Virar-Alibaug Multimodal Corridor further reinforces Bhiwandi’s position as a Tier-1 logistics hub, offering brands efficient access to Mumbai’s urban catchment area as well as outbound connectivity across western and central India.

Maharashtra accounts for a significant share of India’s consumption-driven logistics demand, and Bhiwandi has consistently recorded some of the highest Grade A warehousing absorption levels in the country. Prozo’s growing concentration of infrastructure in the state reflects the increasing complexity of supply chain requirements among the brands it serves, many of which operate high-velocity, multi-channel businesses across Mumbai and the broader Maharashtra market. Dr. Ashvini Jakhar, Founder and CEO, Prozo, said, “Maharashtra is central to any serious supply chain strategy in India. Bhiwandi, in particular, is where brands come when they need scale, speed, and reliable connectivity to one of the largest consumer markets in the country. Our new facility here deepens our ability to serve clients operating at the intersection of digital and quick commerce, retail, and offline distribution, with the process discipline and technology backbone they need to grow with confidence. This warehouse is a node in a carefully built network that we intend to keep strengthening.”

The new Bhiwandi facility will operate on the enterprise-grade standards that govern Prozo’s national network and will be supported by its advanced proprietary technology stack, enabling real-time visibility, rigorous safety compliance, and the operational flexibility required by omni-channel brands. The site is designed to support fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), fashion and lifestyle products, healthcare products, consumer electronics, and several other categories. The Bhiwandi facility complements these capabilities and advances Prozo’s mission of delivering precision-led, full-stack logistics solutions to brands scaling across India’s most demanding markets.

Prozo works with leading brands such as Reliance, TMRW (Aditya Birla Group), Tira, Traya, Minimalist, Beardo, Neemans, Comet Shoes, Bata, Relaxo, and VIP (Caprese), among several other enterprise, retail, and digital-first brands across FMCG, consumer electronics, healthcare, beauty, fashion, and lifestyle categories. The new Bhiwandi facility will support both existing clients expanding their Maharashtra operations and new brands joining Prozo’s multi-client network.
