The country's largest residential real estate player, Lodha Group, is set to start construction work on its newly announced 6 projects that include affordable housing and offices. MD of Lodha Group, Abhishek Lodha, said that the company has remained focused on growing its affordable housing and commercial rental assets since the last 3 years and this has helped its business to perform well even in the midst of the economic slowdown. Of the six projects, 5 are affordable housing in areas like Lower Parel, Thane, Bhiwandi and Palava and a commercial project near BKC in Wadala. The developer will build 9,000 homes with good infrastructure for the milling masses in the metropolitan city.
