Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) will construct 300 high income group (HIG) flats in the posh Vibhuti Khand area of Gomtinagar in the capital city of Uttar Pradesh. The units will range between ₹70-80 lakh and registrations will begin only after their construction is complete. Vice-chairman PN Singh said that LDA will allot the units through the lottery system. The land has been identified and construction work is expected to start shortly. The authority is also planning to construct a similar housing project on Sultanpur Road with around 900 flats on an area of about 200 acres.
