L&T Construction has won orders worth ₹1,127 crore across two business segments including metallurgical and material handling, which have secured orders worth 755 crore. An order has been secured from Hindustan Zinc for construction of 1.5 MTPA Lead Zinc Beneficiation Plant at R D Mines, Rajasthan. The business has also secured various add-on jobs from existing customers in both domestic market and well as in the Middle-East region. Buildings and Factories segments won an order of ₹372 crore. The Factories business unit of the buildings and factories vertical have secured a prestigious order for brownfield expansion of Viscose Staple Fibre manufacturing facility from Grasim Industries (Cellulosic division) at Vilayat, Bharuch in Gujarat, where the scope of work includes civil, structural, architectural and external development.
