L&T Secures Major Solar and Battery Storage Project in Bihar

Larsen and Toubro's (L&T) power transmission and distribution vertical has secured a significant order to build a grid-connected solar plant with a battery energy storage system (BESS) in Kajra village, Lakhisarai district, Bihar.

The project is a key component of Bihar's renewable energy plans, aimed at providing sustainable energy solutions. The BESS will manage generation fluctuations, support voltage, and include black start capability, allowing quick reenergization after outages.
