Larsen & Toubro (L&T), which is country’s engineering and construction giant, has recently secured orders of Rs.2,265 crore from Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority. In this case, the transportation infrastructure, water and effluent treatment businesses of L&T Construction have jointly bagged three EPC orders, said an official spokesperson, adding that the scope of work in these contracts included investigation, design and construction of roads, drains, culverts, water supply, sewerage, sewerage treatment plants, utility ducts for power and ICT, reuse waterline and avenue plantation for land pooling schemes in Zones – 6, 7, and 10 areas of the sprawling Amaravati, the upcoming new capital city of the state.
