The construction and engineering giant of national repute, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) claimed that its construction arm has won orders worth ₹1,329 crore across business segments, said an official spokesperson reiterating that its transportation infrastructure business and smart world communication segment has won an orders worth ₹481 crore and ₹138 crore, respectively, in the domestic market. Similarly in the international arena, its water and effluent treatment business has secured orders worth ₹710 crore in the international market. The company won a prestigious design and build order from Public Works Authority (ASHGHAL), Qatar, for the execution of 30 MLD (million litres per day) industrial area sewage treatment works.
