KPTL wins orders worth Rs. 1,320cr

Adding to its project portfolio in the power sector, Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited, a global EPC player in the power & infrastructure sector, in a recent cache has secured contracts worth Rs 1,320cr, said the company in an official statement, adding that it has secured a turnkey transmission line project of 765 KV D/C Vemagiri - Chilakaluripeta entailing a cost worth Rs 778-cr from Powergrid Southern Interconnector Transmission System Limited, an arm of PGCIL. Apart from this, it also bagged contract for transmission line supply projects for Gadarwara - Warora Transmission Line project involving investment worth Rs 353-cr from Powergrid Warora Transmission also a wholly owned subsidiary of PGCIL and also a contract from PGCIL with scope of work of transmission line supply project for Ultra mega solar park transmission system in Andhra Pradesh at a cost of Rs 77cr, besides, turnkey transmission line project of approx. Rs 73-cr in Abu Dhabi and another substation project of about Rs 44-cr from PGCIL. Commenting on the flow of orders in the recent past, Managing Director, Manish Mohnot said that this year has been exceptionally good for the company in regard to order inflow perspective as the company has secured orders in excess of Rs 7,450-cr in 2015-16, with around 55% contribution from domestic transmission business, 10% from domestic infrastructure business and balance from international markets, he claimed.
