KNR Construction cracks Rs.2,964 cr road contract

In a recent development in the road sector, the KNR Construction has managed to secure twin road contracts on the HAM at an investment worth Rs.2,964.07 crore. The Hyderabad-based construction and infrastructure company secured the projects from NHAI for building six laning of a stretch on NH-140 from Chittoor to Mallavaram in Andhra Pradesh under Bhartmala Pariyojana. The project has a concession period of 17.5 years including construction period of 2.5 years from the appointed date, with a bid project cost of Rs.1,730.07 crore. The second project also entails scope of work for four laning of NH-161 from Ramsanpalle to Mangalore in Telangana also under Bharatmala Pariyojana. The project has a concession period of 17 years including construction period of 2 years from the appointed date, with a bid project cost of Rs.1,234 crore.
