KIFB clears Rs.3,800 cr for infra projects

To build top-class infrastructure across the state, the Infrastructure Fund Board (KIFB) has recently sanctioned score of infra development projects entailing an investment of Rs.3,800 crore across sectors including public works, water resources, power, forest, and road infrastructure. In this connection, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the board and respective secretaries of the departments, Finance Minister T M Thomas Isaac said in a media statement that the projects in question involved a staggering investment of Rs.3,800 crore and all of them would be commissioned during the current financial year.
