Kerala Government Fast-Tracks Kannur Greenfield Port Project

The Kerala government has expedited the development of the Kannur Azhikkal International Greenfield Port, aimed at driving industrial and economic growth in the Malabar region. The state cabinet, led by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, approved a draft project report by Malabar International Port and SEZ Limited (MIPSL), the entity formed for the port's development. The financial structure report by the Centre for Management Development (CMD) has also been sanctioned, paving the way for further action.
