The Minister also emphasized the need for skill development and capacity building across seven focus areas, including training local tourist guides, to create jobs and strengthen the tourism value chain.

Scindia encouraged officials to adopt global best practices from destinations like Lakshadweep, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Kevadia to create a world-class tourism experience. Reaffirming Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to position every Indian state as a global tourism destination, the Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to unlocking Tripura’s vast potential and promoting its rich cultural and spiritual heritage on the world stage.
