Jupiter Electric Mobility Launches JEM TEZ, Opens EV Plant in Indore

Jupiter Electric Mobility (JEM), the EV arm of Jupiter Group, has launched its flagship electric light commercial vehicle (e-LCV), JEM TEZ, alongside the grand inauguration of its state-of-the-art EV manufacturing plant in Pithampur, Indore. The facility spans 2.5 acres and is designed to produce 8,000–10,000 e-LCVs annually, with plans for phased expansion.

The JEM TEZ features a 190+ km true range, 80kW peak motor power, 23% gradeability, and a 1.05-ton certified payload. Its fast-charging capability enables 100 km range in just 1 hour using a CCS2 charger. Priced at ₹10.35 lakh (ex-showroom), it aims to revolutionize last-mile logistics and urban freight transport with market-leading specs at an affordable price point.

This launch strengthens India's Make in India and Vision@2047 initiatives, reinforcing domestic EV manufacturing and reducing import dependency.
