JKB Infra-SNCF in JV to redevelop railway stations
JKB Infrastructure has joined hands with French national railway company SNCF for station redevelopments of the Indian Railways across cities. The railway station modernization program aims to redevelop, reconstruct, and renovate key railway stations and bring them to world-class standards. The project focuses on key stations across 100 cities carrying 16 million passengers per day. SNCF, which has expertise in design, development and operation of multi-modal transit hubs across the globe, is not new to the Indian market; it has worked with the Indian Railways ear;ier for the Ambala, Ludhiana and CSTM (Mumbai) stations.
