JK Tyre Industries' R&D centres in Mysuru, Faridabad, IIT-Madras and IIT-Kharagpur will now be housed under one roof at Mysuru, which is close to its OEMs in South India, informed Technical Director, VK Misra. The company's R&D centre Raghupati Singhania Centre of Excellence (RPSCOE) which opened in 2018 in Mysuru will get a capital expenditure (capex) by ₹100 crore in addition to the ₹200 crore already committed when it was set up. The capex is to upgrade the technology centre and to procure additional equipment to ramp up its infrastructure for testing and product development.
