JICA Signs ₹11,181 Cr Loan Agreements with India for Infra Development

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has signed six loan agreements worth ₹11,181 crore with the Government of India to support sustainable development across various sectors.

A major portion, ₹4,649 crore, is allocated for the fourth phase of the Delhi Metro. The project includes 47 km of new metro corridors, extending Line 1 and Line 5, along with the development of a new Line 11, enhancing urban mobility in the capital.
