Jharkhand hastens Rs.645 cr ring road project

In order to speed up the Hazaribad ring road project in Jharkhand, the district administration has stepped up the land acquisition process and has already acquired 150 acres of land to start the Rs.645 crore ring road in the town. The process to get the required land had been initiated and was expected to be completed shortly, said sources that the 16.42km road would pass through 17 villages on the outskirts of the town including Nawdiha, Atia, Romi, Alagdiha, Masratu, Godakhar, Rewali, Khapariawan, Massipiddi, Salgawan, Sirsi, Merawal, Damodih, Mandaikhurd, Mandaikala, Kasturikhap and Kadma. A team of district administration officials visited the area where the land has been identified for the project and the concerned officials have been directed to free up the land from encroachment.
