Jharkhand gets Rs. 103-cr road project

Road Project
The state government in Jharkhand has recently cleared the construction of two roads with a total length of 58 km in the extremism-affected Dhalbhumgarh and Gudabandha blocks at an investment of Rs 105 crore. The project included the construction of a 25 km long road from Dhalbhumgarh to Guda picket through Hariyan-Jian and another 33 km road from Dumaria forest dak bungalow to Layalam Valley near Jharkhand-Odisha borders via Khairbani, Harina and Kovali. The projects will not just improve the road connectivity in the remote red terror infected areas but also inject a booster to the economic activities, said an official spokesperson, adding that the state government is also contemplating to build and complete five other main roads falling in the Jamshedpur Parliamentary constituency as quickly as possible.
