JCB India opens new dealership headquarters at Kochi

In a bid to expand the operational ambit of its dealership network, JCB India has recently inaugurated the new headquarters of its dealership, Popular JCB, at Kochi in downstream South. Spread across 40,000 sq-ft, with a built-up area of 24,000 sq-ft, it employs over 200 trained personnel, and well-equipped to provide world-class experience to customers for all their equipment related requirements, which include sales, service and genuine parts. Popular JCB has been a dealer for JCB India in Kerala since 2014 and with the new facility it will cover over 2,000 machines in its territory. Its other 12 outlets in Kerala are at Pattamabi, Muvattupuzha, Kottayam, Thrissur, Perumbavoor, Kattapana, Kattayam, Thriuvalla, Kottarakkara, Oachira, Thrivanthapuram, Nemon and Chittur. It will also have four bay workshops for product support, a specialized Engine Room, a Welding Bay, and about 100 trained service engineers with mobile service vans.

At the inauguration, MD & CEO, JCB India, Vipin Sondhi, said that the facility will offer the complete range of JCB products. Popular JCB will also have a Command Centre for JCB Livelink - the Advanced Telematics Technology. JCB's Livelink-enabled machines give SMS alerts to customers on their mobile phones or smart devices for service, fuel consumption, operations and security of their machines. Kerala is a significant market for JCB as its unique geography and terrain creates possibilities for the full range of its machines manufactured in India. With the focus on building infrastructure, highways and waterways etc in the state, JCB remains committed to offer world-class products and services for its customers in Kerala.
