In a recent boost to the road infrastructure in the north-eastern region, Japan is willing to invest in road sector in the hill state of Nagaland, if security is guaranteed to its man and machines, sources said that Japanese Government is willing to invest with conducive security scenario for operations in the State. In return, the State Government has assured full security to the Japanese Government, but a source said the Japan is still apprehensive due to mushrooming of several outfits, whose objective is to collect money for survival. Currently Japan is analyzing the ground situation in Nagaland before giving the nod to the State Government‘s request for investment, especially in the road sector.
