Ircon Synchronizes 75 MW Solar Power in Karnataka; Total Capacity Reaches 300 MW

Ircon Renewable Power Limited, a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) of Ircon International Ltd. (a Government of India Undertaking), has successfully synchronized an additional 75 MW of solar power on July 15, 2025, at its solar plant in Pavagada, Karnataka. With this, the total operational capacity has reached 300 MW.

This milestone marks the fifth phase of the 500 MW solar power project currently under development. Once fully commissioned, the plant is expected to offset around 720,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually, contributing significantly to India’s clean energy goals.
