Ircon International wins ₹723-cr RRTS contract

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has awarded ₹723 crore contract to Ircon International for design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of receiving sub-stations and associated works on Viaduct & Tunnel from Sarai Kale Khan to Duhai on the eastern peripheral expressway. The contract also covers Jangpura Stabling Yard and Duhai Depot and SCDA system for completing the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor of NCRTC for the accepted contract amount of ₹318 crore, and the tenure for its execution is 50 months. The other contract is for the work on Viaduct & Tunnel from Duhai (EPE) to Modipuram including Modipuram Depot for Delhi- Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor of NCRTC at an accepted contract amount of ₹405 crore and the tenure for its execution is 54 months. The scope of work on this stretch also involves the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of receiving sub-stations and associated works.
