INTERMAT 2024 to Showcase New Technologies & Energies in Construction
The show has restructured its sector organization around five hubs of expertise, with the introduction of the New Technologies & Energies hub taking center stage. This hub will spotlight cutting-edge technologies integral to construction equipment, addressing industry professionals' concerns and expectations regarding energy efficiency and sustainability.
The event's offerings are structured around four pillars aligned with the major challenges of construction, with Energy being a central focus. The New Technologies & Energies hub will showcase equipment utilizing new energy sources such as biofuels, electric, and hydrogen, along with decarbonization solutions like electric retrofitting. It will also feature virtual and digital engineering tools like augmented reality, mobile apps, BIM, and drones, as well as energy storage solutions and autonomous vehicles.
Key features of the New Technologies & Energies hub include an exhibition zone, a Start-Up Village showcasing innovative startups, a forum area hosting talks and presentations, and a demo zone dedicated to low-carbon and electric equipment.
The Start-Up Village, organized in partnership with Impulse Partners, will serve as a platform for presenting technological solutions addressing decarbonization and digitalization in construction. It will feature a program of talks and pitches, providing insights into major innovation trends and successful collaborations between startups and industry players.

Furthermore, seven exhibitors were nominated in the New Technologies and Energies category of the 2024 INTERMAT Innovation Awards, including BERGERAT MONNOYEUR, CHRONO FLEX, COJALI FRANCE, EXCESS ENGINEERING AS, KOMATSU EUROPE INTERNATIONAL NV, MOASURE, and TENSTAR SOLUTION AB.
