NPG approves Rs 19,520.77-cr road, rail infra projects
The Network Planning Group (NPG) has approved four infrastructure projects in roads and railways sectors, involving an investment of Rs 19,520.77 crore. These projects have been recommended for approval under the PM GatiShakti initiative. This takes the total number of projects assessed by NPG to 115 with a total value of about Rs 11.70 lakh crore, since the launch of PM GatiShakti scheme and these projects were assessed in the 57th NPG meeting. The maximum number of projects recommended by the group are related to roads, railways and urban infrastructure segments.
