Noida plans Rs 2,906-cr infrastructure in New Noida area
The Noida Authority has set a goal to invest Rs. 2,906 crore to build infrastructure and other allied facilities in the upcoming 'New Noida' area. The investment plan includes Rs. 1,000 crore for land acquisition and Rs. 1,906 crore for developing the necessary infrastructure and other works. The Noida Authority Board approved a budget of Rs. 6,920 crore for 2023-24, with a target of Rs. 8,920 crore in revenue and Rs. 6,503 crore in expenditures for the current financial year. Key projects that will be taken up include the construction of an administrative office in Sector-96 and an elevated road from Chilla regulator to Mahamaya flyover. Additionally, Rs. 141 crore has been allocated for village development in the current financial year, which includes urban maintenance, road repair, and cleanliness arrangements.
