Informa Markets Announces 18th Renewable Energy India Expo 2025, Co-Located with The Battery Show India

REI-EXPO
Informa Markets in India, the country’s leading curator of B2B growth platforms, has announced the 18th edition of Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo, Asia’s largest clean energy event, scheduled from October 30 to November 1, 2025, at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. The 2025 edition will be co-located with the 3rd edition of The Battery Show India (TBSI), collectively advancing India’s vision for a cleaner, greener future.

Building on the resounding success of REI 2024, which marked nearly two decades of industry collaboration, REI 2025 aims to set new benchmarks for innovation, partnerships, and sustainability.

The strategic co-location of REI and TBSI creates an integrated energy ecosystem, covering the full spectrum of renewable generation, advanced battery technology, and energy storage solutions. Together, they form South Asia’s most influential clean energy platform, bringing together manufacturers, innovators, investors, and policymakers under the theme “Decoding Pathways to Achieve Net Zero.”

Renewable Energy India (REI) 2025 is poised to redefine the sustainable energy landscape with participation from over 700 exhibitors, 1,000 brands, over 35,000 visitors, and 250 global thought leaders, including policymakers and innovators. The expo will showcase the full spectrum of renewable energy solutions spanning solar manufacturing, battery storage, EV charging infrastructure, inverters, biomass, and wind energy, fostering collaboration and technological exchange.

Complementing this renewable energy showcase, TBSI 2025 serves as South Asia's premier platform for advanced battery manufacturing and energy storage technologies. With strong institutional support from the Department of Science & Technology and Ministry of Heavy Industries, TBSI builds on the global legacy of The Battery Show in North America and Europe, bringing together over 350 exhibitors and 400+ brands from the global energy and mobility value chain, alongside 20,000+ industry professionals including vehicle manufacturers, project developers, C&I customers, policymakers, and technology innovators.

Further strengthening the event's credibility, the Government of Odisha has been onboarded as a State Partner, reinforcing the strong government commitment to advancing India's battery and energy storage ecosystem.

The event showcases significant participation from leading global clean energy markets including China, Japan, and Korea, alongside country pavilions from Germany, Belgium, and others supported by the European Union's Cluster Collaboration Platform. Further amplifying innovation and collaboration, the event will also feature a Start-up Pavilion to highlight emerging innovations and an Investor Zone to connect entrepreneurs with potential investors, fostering collaboration and growth in the clean energy ecosystem.

Adding to this international presence, the event features a sizeable Bio Energy Pavilion supported by MNRE, housing 65 companies from across the globe, demonstrating the comprehensive scope of renewable technologies on display. This will complement an illustrious lineup of exhibitors of REI including Reliance, Insolation, Premier, Wattpower, INOX Solar, Adani Solar, Vikram India Ltd, Goldi Solar, Havells, Waaree, Axitec Energy, Emmvee Photovoltaic Power, FIMER, Gautam Solar, Envision, Luminous Power, GREW Energy, and Dhash PV Technologies, among others.

TBSI, on the other hand, will highlight innovations from leading exhibitors like Semco, Thermofisher, PNT Korea, Rubamin, Indygreen, Encore, Tex Technology, CBC Corporation, BASF, TVS Indeon, Nash energy, Encore, Ipower and many more.

Sharing perspective on the co-located expos, Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India, said, "Renewable Energy India 2025 reflects the pulse of a nation firmly steering toward energy independence and sustainability. With 242.8 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity, including 233.99 GW from renewables, India now derives over half of its total power generation from clean sources, a milestone that places the country among the world’s foremost green energy champions. The journey from 76 GW in 2014 to nearly 234 GW in 2025 is not just growth; it is transformation.

This year’s REI reinforces that momentum, serving as the definitive platform where global innovators, policymakers, and investors converge to power progress. The concurrent third edition of The Battery Show India complements this vision by deepening conversations around storage and mobility, two pillars vital to the renewable energy value chain. Together, they embody India’s leadership in driving the next wave of sustainable innovation,” he added.
