Madhya Pradesh’s first 3D-printed building at Morar Cantonment

The Indian Army has inaugurated Madhya Pradesh’s first 3D-printed building at Morar Cantonment, designed to house jawans. Developed by the Military Engineer Services (MES) in collaboration with Simpliforge Creations and IIT Hyderabad, this project marks a significant leap in military infrastructure.

Inaugurated by Major General KTG Krishnan, the barrack showcases the Army’s commitment to technological innovation as part of the "Year of Technology Absorption 2024." This advanced construction method aims to provide efficient housing solutions in challenging terrains, enhancing the Army's operational readiness.

The project sets a new standard for military construction and modernization efforts.
