Telangana will soon get an Airport Express metro rail link from Mindspace to Shamshabad airport with the state cabinet having cleared the project and construction work set to start soon, said fficial spokesperson KT Rama Rao. He said this was one of the measures taken by TRS to take on two key challenges – rising traffic congestion and crumbling infrastructure. Pointing out that only about 36% of Hyderabad‘s population uses public transport vis a vis Mumbai‘s 70%, he said the government is also working on other traffic decongestion road infrastructure projects.
