Highway Infrastructure Wins Rs 154.60 Cr NHAI Contract for Vadodara–Mumbai Expressway Toll Plazas

Under the agreement, HIL will handle toll collection at the Moti Naroli plaza and maintain public amenities including toilet facilities. The accepted daily remittance is Rs 1.71 crore and the contract execution period is 90 days.
The Vadodara–Mumbai Expressway is part of the 1,350 km Delhi–Mumbai Expressway and is expected to reduce travel time between Vadodara and Mumbai from about nine to ten hours to nearly four and a half hours. The route connects major industrial hubs in Gujarat and Maharashtra and links with the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor and the Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor, with the upcoming Morbe–Kalamboli link further improving connectivity to Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority.
