Hindustan Construction Company Limited (HCC) has secured a contract worth approximately Rs 1,662.27 crore from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation for Phase IV of the Goregaon–Mulund Link Road (GMLR) project in Mumbai. The project has been awarded to the Aakshya-HCC Joint Venture, in which HCC holds a 49% stake.

The scope of work includes the construction of a 1,330-metre second-level flyover along with 3,200 metres of at-grade roads and 2,620 metres of free-left movements under Phase I. Phase II comprises a 2,400-metre cloverleaf interchange, 3,600 metres of free-left bypasses, a 180-metre cable-stayed span and ramps extending 270 metres.

The GMLR corridor is a key infrastructure project aimed at improving east–west connectivity across Mumbai, reducing travel time and easing congestion between the suburbs of Goregaon and Mulund.
