Haulotte Appoints three new distributors in Africa

Sterling Access team during the product training session in Witbank. The company is a supplier of mobile elevating work solutions. From now, Sterling Access will distribute the full Haulotte product range in South Africa through its network of 5 agencies.

Haulotte Group welcomed three new retailers for the brand in the Africa zone : Sterling Access in South Africa, Promatex OI in Réunion Island and Pie Tnufain Israel. These new partnerships will enable the African subsidiary to provide a better local service support.

By adding Haulotte products to their offering as a retailer, the three companies will address specific technical needs of their customers. The priority is to ensure a safe environment to work in with excellent equipment. "Combining our technical know-how with their in-depth market knowledge will improve the customer experience and satisfaction. This illustrates our Glocal approach: Think Global, Act Local" said Didier Mertens, General Manager of Haulotte Africa.

In June and July, the distributors’ staff benefited from a comprehensive training on Haulotte products and the latest technological innovations. The companies are equipped with large workshops to carry out diagnostics, repairs and maintenance operations. Fully equipped vehicles also allow on-site servicing. Ahmed Errouissi, Service Leader at Haulotte Africa, aims at developing technicians’ skills. "They will soon be experts in operating and maintaining Haulotte’s aerial equipment. They will be able to advise customers to ensure an optimized utilization rate of the machines and thus a better profitability" he said.
