Haryana launches ₹1,255-cr elevated road project

According to Rao Narbir Singh, minister for public works, the state governmentr of Haryana is set to start construction of the 5-km long elevated highway between Badshapur and Subhash Chowk on Sohna road in Gurugram. After the commissioning of the road project, commuting from Rajiv Chowk to Badshapur will take only 8-10 minutes and to Sohna 18-20 minutes, and the road will considerably reduce traffic jams at Subhash Chowk and Badshapur. These apart, both Dwarka expressway and KMP e-way will be ready soon. NHAI has proposed building a three-lane service road to expand the Badshapur corridor. As part of this project, three bus shelters have been proposed at Islampur, Badshapur, Dhumsapur, Bhondsi, Ghamroj and Alipur, and three foot over-bridges and an underpass at Subhash Chowk, are also in the offing, said project director, NHAI, Gurgaon, Ashok Sharma.
