Haryana hastens ₹334-cr new road on Delhi-Panipat stretch

Road Projects
An alternate 80km road to de-congest Delhi-Panipat section of NH-44 has been cleared by the Haryana government, for which ₹334 crore has been sanctioned by the Central government. The road, which will initially connect Panipat Refinery with the Haiderpur Ring Road in Delhi, will replace the narrow and dilapidated road along the Munak canal, which reaches Delhi via Panipat and Sonepat. Efforts would be made to connect the road from Harewali to Munak canal for which the proposal has been sent to the National Capital Region Planning Board for approval.
