Haryana cracks Delhi-Kundli metro line

Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation
In its quest to provide metro rail facilities to cities in the NCR region, the Haryana government recently claimed that Kundli in Sonipat district will be connected with the Metro rail services shortly. The project for connecting Kundli with metro rail was cleared in the recently held meeting of the Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation. The metro rail line will be extended from Narela in Delhi to Kundli, covering a distance of about 4.86 km. In addition, other under-construction metro rail projects including the Sikanderpur to Gurgaon Sector 56, YMCA Faridabad to Ballabhgarh, and Mundka to Bahadurgarh, were also reviewed. The latter two are slated to be completed by December this year. The government has asked the Delhi Metro to improve cleanliness in areas surrounding its stations. Urban Development Secretary, Rajiv Gauba gave the direction while reviewing various aspects of functioning of the metro with DMRC MD Mangu Singh, claimed an official spokesperson.
