Gurugram readies for ₹1,100-cr infra projects

infra-project
Work has started on the ambitious 11-km elevated flyover in Gurugram. It will provide connectivity to the Delhi- Mumbai corridor to be constructed jointly by the state and central governments at an investment of ₹1,100 crore. The project will begin from Vatika Chowk in Sohna and extend up to Bhondsi. Along with extending the width of the road there are plans to build two elevated flyovers at the busy route. This is the third major project where the NHAI along with the state government will invest to revamp the city roads. Clearance for the Dwarka Expressway have also been granted by the Gurugram administration as NHAI has built a number of flyovers and underpasses at the city's busiest points along the Delhi-Jaipur highway. It may be recalled that the NHAI had stated that the administration should get rid of all the hurdles before it undertakes the project.
