Gujarat Government Bolsters Energy Security with Strategic Partnership
Over the past five years, Gujarat has seen a significant rise in power demand, growing at a CAGR of over 6%. Anticipating a peak demand of ~36,000 MW by FY 2031-32 (as per the 20th EPS Report, CEA), the Energy & Petrochemical Department (EPD) and Industries & Mines Department (IMD) under Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel have outlined a strategic framework.
