Gujarat Approves 927 Urban Projects Worth Rs 16,316 Cr Under AMRUT 2.0 Scheme

Funding for these projects will include Rs 4,504 crore from the Union government, Rs 5,597 crore from the state government, and Rs 6,215 crore from urban local bodies (ULBs). The initiatives encompass key urban development activities such as underground sewer management, rejuvenation of ponds and lakes, park development, and other essential infrastructure works.
Launched in June 2015, AMRUT focuses on improving urban amenities and quality of life, while AMRUT 2.0, introduced in October 2021, continues to drive sustainable and inclusive urban transformation across India.
