Godrej Electricals Secures 12.5 MWp Solar Project in Madhya Pradesh
Godrej Electricals & Electronics, a unit of Godrej & Boyce, has commissioned a 12.5 MWp rooftop solar project for a textile facility in Madhya Pradesh. Covering one million sq. ft. of manufacturing sheds, it is one of the three largest rooftop solar installations in India and the first of its kind in the state. This project is set to provide green energy to the textile facility, with an estimated annual saving of 17 million kWh of power. Godrej Electricals & Electronics continues to focus on innovative solutions to decarbonize energy-intensive sectors, create employment, and maintain technological leadership.
