GNIDA announces new housing scheme

The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) is set to announce the launch of over 800 flats of 1, 2 and 3-BHK units in sectors 12, Eta II and Omicron I in Gautam Budh Nagar. A handful of ready-to-move-in flats will be available in G+3 storey building as well as in high rise towers with 20 floors. The residential allotment scheme is expected to be launched shortly once the mandatory approvals are secured from the authorities, said Assistant GM - Property, KK Yadav. The units will be in the price range of ₹28.50 lakh and ₹74.50 lakh and in sizes of 54.29 sqm and 132.95 sqm. Some flats in the completed buildings had to be carried forward in the upcoming schemes since buyers were unable to pay the required amount during the last draw in 2013. The Authority had then planned to auction 1,200 such flats before Diwali in 2018, however, it did not launch the scheme as it thought of focusing on completing projects that had already been sold out but could not take-off due to land acquisition issues with farmers.
