GMADA Invites EoIs for 5,500-Acre Aerotropolis City Project Near Mohali Airport

GMADA

In a major step toward reshaping Mohali’s urban landscape, the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) has invited Expressions of Interest (EoIs) for developing the ambitious Aerotropolis City, spread across 5,500 acres near Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport.

The project recently received green clearance from the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority, removing the final regulatory hurdle. With environmental approvals in place, GMADA has now initiated the bidding process. The decision to proceed was taken by the secretary of housing, following years of delays in project execution.
