Municipal administration and urban development minister, K Taraka Rama Rao, recently launched the construction of multi-level flyovers and grade separators at Botanical Gardens and Kothaguda Junction within the Greater Hyderabad Municipal limit at an investment of ₹263 crore. The project has been taken up to ease traffic congestion at Botanical Gardens and Kothaguda junction and the project in question has been awarded to M Venkat Rao Infra Projects. Aapart from Botanical Gardens and Kothaguda Junction, the project is expected to ease 65% of traffic at Kondapur Junction as well. The minister directed top brass of GHMC to personally monitor all the civic works and speed up the projects, including road restoration work, said an official spokesperson of GHMC.
