Galfar Engineering Emerges as L1 Bidder for NH-119A Corridor Project

Galfar Engineering & Contracting SAOG, an Oman-based engineering and contracting firm, has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) with a bid value of ₹993 crore for the construction of the Patna-Arrah-Sasaram Corridor (NH-119A) under Package-2 on a hybrid annuity mode (HAM) in Bihar.

The project involves four-laning from Garhani to Patar and the construction of a greenfield corridor from Sadisopur at Patna Ring Road (NH-131G) to Asani (NH-319). The corridor under this package spans 46.400 km.

Scope of work includes new pavement construction, rehabilitation of existing pavements, construction and rehabilitation of major and minor bridges, culverts, road intersections, interchanges, drains, and other associated structures.
