VECV Sales Rise 7.8% to 7,978 Units in May 2026
Sales of Eicher trucks and buses stood at 7,789 units during the month, compared with 7,258 units a year earlier, registering a growth of 7.3%.
In the domestic commercial vehicle market, Eicher recorded sales of 7,375 units, up 9.1% from 6,758 units in May 2025.
Exports, however, declined 17.2% year-on-year to 414 units from 500 units in the corresponding month last year.
Meanwhile, Volvo trucks and buses posted strong growth, with sales rising 32.2% to 189 units in May 2026, compared with 143 units in May 2025.
