The construction equipment industry maintained its growth trajectory in September 2026, supported by continued government investment in infrastructure, sustained project execution across roads, railways, urban infrastructure and mining, and healthy demand for mechanisation. Export opportunities across key markets also remained supportive. However, geopolitical uncertainties continue to be a factor to watch.
For the July-September quarter (Q2 FY27), Escorts Kubota’s Construction Equipment Business sold 1,764 machines, up 53.9% from 1,146 machines in the corresponding quarter of FY26.
For the six months from April to September 2026, sales stood at 3,108 machines, an increase of 41.2% compared with 2,201 machines in the same period of FY26.
