Epiroc showcases mining and drilling tools at Excon

Epiroc Mining India Limited commenced its journey as an independent business entity at Excon 2017 -Asia’s biggest construction equipment and construction technology trade fair recently organized at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre. Atlas Copco Group had, in January 2017, announced that the group would split into two world-class companies — Atlas Copco and Epiroc. While Atlas Copco would cater to industrial customers, Epiroc would focus on mining, infrastructure and natural resources. Atlas Copco and Epiroc will pursue two different business paths but share a common heritage of innovation and commitment for the benefit of all its customers. Epirocwill continue the 144-year-old Atlas Copco legacy of being‘United in Performance and Inspired by Innovation’. The brand identity was launched at Excon 2017 by noted speed painter Vilas Nayak who unveiled a beautiful logo for Epiroc.

At Excon, Epiroc Mining India showcased its Drill Jumbo Boomer L2Dhydraulic and semi-hydraulic machines —AirROC D40sh and AirROC D35sh.The new entity also displayed its range of small to medium to heavy breakers as well a stock drilling tools line including Top Hammers, Down the Hole and Rotary Drills. Epiroc’s Simulator creates a virtual reality environment for drilling while the futuristic Certiq software makes life simpler for operators, providing reports for multiple machines with just a click. Today, Epiroc is ready to offer mining and civil engineering products with cutting-edge, proactive, automated and digitalised world of technology. The company has state-of-the-art factories at Nashik and Hyderabad, and a world-class engineering centre in Bengaluru. It also has sales and regional offices across the country.
