Elgi Equipment launches direct-drive air compressor
Coimbatore-based Elgi equipment has launched its direct drive reciprocating air compressor, a third new generation product with direct drive piston. The compressor offers superior performance through its unique integrated design of motor and top block, with each component designed for reliability and ease of maintenance. Other benefits include longer life of piston and piston rings owing to lower piston speed and precise tolerance and effective transmission. Unlike the conventional belt-driven compressors, it is compact, silent and runs for longer duty. It is best suited for applications in industrial segments such as general engineering, automotive and textiles.
