e-Shang Redwood (ESR)
A logistics developer of global repute, e-Shang Redwood (ESR) is all set to mark India entry by building three industrial parks to tap the rising corporate demand for world-class warehousing and logistics facilities. In addition, it has also decided to build four more projects this year giving a tough competition to logistics and warehousing players in the largely unorganized sector, Co-CEO, ESR Advisers India, Abhijit Malkani, said, adding that the company believes the Indian market is extremely large and his company is the largest supplier of space to e-commerce companies in China and Japan but now the massive boom in e-commerce has strengthened the attractiveness of the Indian market. ESR’s warehouses outside India are leased to top online e-commerce players, including Amazon, Alibaba and JD.com. The three logistics parks in India will go live in Pune, Kolkata and Mumbai very shortly and that it is on course to launch six-seven industrial parks, each between 50-125 acres, during 2018.
