Duville enters realty; plans ₹500-cr project in Pune

Duville Estate has announced its entry in the real estate sector and will be building three housing projects in Pune at an investment of ₹500 crore. The company is a privately owned entity of Behram Dubash, which is engaged in shipping. The projects are a part of monetizing its land parcels. The three housing projects comprising 1,150 units will be built in the first phase of this 31-acre township named as 'Riverdale'. Located on the banks of the Mula Mutha River in Kharadi, Pune, its first project Riverdale Heights will house 580 units and is expected to be delivered this year. Director Tushad Dubash informed that about 80 percent of flats have already been sold. In addition, it has also launched two more projects Riverdale Residences and Riverdale Suites comprising 300 units and 270 units, respectively, which will be completed by 2021. The investment is being funded through internal accruals, advances from customers and construction finance. Flats are being sold at around ₹8,000 per sq ft commanding a price range of ₹35 lakh to ₹1.7 crore. The township has got a Gold Certificate from IGBC and all the three projects have been registered with regulatory body RERA.
