Dharavi Redevelopment to Get ₹3 Lakh Cr Investment

The redevelopment of Dharavi, Asia’s largest slum spanning 600 acres in Mumbai, will involve an investment of nearly ₹3 lakh crore, covering rehabilitation and infrastructure development.
An Adani Group entity holds an 80% stake in Navbharat Mega Developers Pvt Ltd (NMDPL), the company leading the project, while the state government owns the remaining 20%. NMDPL, formerly Dharavi Redevelopment Project Pvt Ltd, has already invested around ₹1,000 crore in the initiative.
