DFCCIL-UP inks MoU to build 29 RoBs

DFCCIL
A MoU for construction of Road Over Bridges has been inked by DFCCIL, state government of UP, and the North Central Railway to build 29 RoBs on the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor on a cost-sharing basis in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The approach work for these RoBs will be carried out by UP State Bridge Corporation under the aegis of Government of UP. The construction will ensure stoppage-free road and rail movements at Level Crossings. Director/PP DFCCIL, Anshuman Sharma, Special Secretary PWD, Government of UP, Girijesh Kumar Tyagi, and the various zones of Indian Railways represented by Chief Engineer/RSW/ECR, N.K.Jha were among the other signatories from the railway wings of NCR and Northern Railways. Of the total number of bridges, a large number will be built on Northern Railways and Eastern Central Railway areas.
